Monday
We drive through snow-covered forest to Mattila's reindeer farm. At the farm we will hear something about reindeer husbandry. After lunch we will drive back to Luosto. This is a 100 km drive altogether.
 

Tuesday
We drive via Orresokka to a Lapp "kota" and have a coffee break on campfire. Safari continues to the top of Keski-Luosto, with a magnificent panorama of surrounding fells.

In the afternoon we drive through snowy forest to the top of Lampivaara fell to visit an Amethyst mine. We hear the story of amethyst while enjoying a hot drink and after that we visit the mine itself and dig our lucky stone.
 

Wednesday
We drive at the magnificent scenery at Luosto to the closest husky farm where we get to know the dogs and drive with the team. After that we stop to enjoy coffee on open fire. Return to Luosto with snowmobiles.

Evening safari. We drive through snowy forest to Kota "Crown North", where we see the Northern Lights show. After the show we step outside and if we are lucky we can see the Aurora Borealis in the dark night sky. 
 

Thursday 
Driving on the top of Luosto Fell we arrive to a Lappish "kota", where we have a coffee break on open fire. We walk with snowshoes through the forest to a pond for ice fishing. If we are lucky, in a while we have a rainbow trout fighting on the other end of the line.

Evening safari. We drive in the dark, quiet, snowy forest at the surroundings of Luosto admiring "nocturnal" winter nature. On the way we stop to enjoy coffee on open fire.
